Mettmann Police to offer free weighing for motorhomes and caravans

The Mettmann district police authority is organizing a free weighing event for recreational vehicles. The event will take place on March 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the police station. The aim is to help owners check if the permissible axle load is exceeded and to advise on proper loading. Violations detected during the event will not be penalized.
